Jiwon Kim was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2025 after earning her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in May 2025. While in law school, Jiwon was a Senior Editor for Washington University Jurisprudence Review and a Vice President of Professional Development for Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

 

Jiwon spent a semester in law school working on Housing Justice Project for Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic, guiding tenants in Missouri in finding appropriate legal remedies and resources to address residential environmental hazards.

 

Prior to joining Gunty & McCarthy, Jiwon interned for the Honorable Gilbert C. Sison of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
